Adult Ministries:

We strive to provide opportunities for adults in all stages of life to:

  • Begin an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ regardless of age.

  • Grow deeper in their walk with our Lord and Savior.

  • Form meaningful relationships with other like-minded believers.

  • Find a place of rewarding service that they can serve the Lord.

  • To learn and grow in His name through Bible Studies, Conventions, and other ministries of the Baptist Faith.

Adult Ministries have multiple facets - Reaching out to adults on many levels.

An answer for every circumstance of life can be found in God's Word. We encourage everyone to pursue their answers by studying with a group of caring Christian's. We hold Bible Studies each Sunday morning at 9:30 am and we welcome everyone to join us.

Sunday Morning Bible Study: (9:30 am each Sunday Morning)

Sunday July 17, 2022 - We will begin our study of - The Ten Commandments - (also known as the Decalogue) are ten laws in the Bible that are still a part of our daily Christian lives today. This will be a 6-week study and we invite you to join us. We will study 1 -2 of the Ten Commandments each week.

TBD - Our next Bible Study will be on the Parables of Jesus Christ. A parable is, literally, something “cast alongside” something else. Jesus’ parables were stories that were “cast alongside” a truth in order to illustrate that truth. After telling some of His parables, Jesus said, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear” (Mark 4:9, 23). This was a call to listen to the parables, not just as one would listen to an ordinary story but as one who is seeking the truth of God.

Preschool, Children, and Teens Ministry:

CHILDREN ARE A GIFT FROM GOD - God created the family. His design was for a man and a woman to marry for life and raise children to know and honor Him. Regardless of how they enter a family, children are a gift from God, and He cares about how they are raised. Several places in Scripture give specific instructions to parents about how to raise their children. Ephesians 6:4 says, “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”

We desire to help every child begin and maintain a long-life journey in Christ. We seek to provide a safe and happy environment where we supplement the family and its primary role as chief cultivation is a child's development. The Bible - God's Word, is taught and applied in a manner that is relevant to children and youth of all ages.

All our Preschool, Children and Youth Ministry team members undergo a Mandatory Background Check as part of our Safety, Welfare and Security program at BSBC.
